Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms apply to services provided by Zac Manken Pty Ltd (ABN 96 689 511 920), trading as Status Signal (“we”, “us”), to you, the business that signs up (“you”). By signing up, paying or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Map Pack Growth is a monthly local SEO and reputation service for local service businesses. It includes Google Business Profile optimisation and weekly posts, citations and local links, a review reactivation campaign to your past customers, automatic review requests after each job or appointment, review replies and low-rating alerts, missed-call text-back, a referral campaign from month 3, and a monthly report. The exact inclusions are those in your signup or proposal. Websites, extra pages, Google Ads and social media management are not included unless agreed separately in writing.
2. Fees and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which is added to every invoice.
Monthly plans are billed in advance each month by card or direct debit. Annual plans are paid upfront.
Your plan includes a monthly SMS allowance of 300 messages. If you go over, we’ll let you know before charging for extra messages at the rate in your offer.
If a payment fails and isn’t fixed within 7 days, we may pause the service until it is.
3. Term and cancellation
Monthly plans have a 3-month minimum term, then continue month to month.
After the minimum term, you can cancel any time by emailing us before your next billing date. The service runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Annual plans run for 12 months. Fees for an annual plan aren’t refundable for unused months, except where the law requires or under our guarantee.
We can end the service with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms. If we end it without a breach on your part, we’ll refund any fees paid for the period after the end date.
4. Our guarantee
We guarantee you’ll be in the top 3 on Google Maps and get 25 new Google reviews, or your money back.
Your targets, in writing. At onboarding we agree the search term and area your top 3 is measured on, how we check it (a Google Maps ranking scan from your business location), and your review target. We confirm them by email before work starts.
Timeframes. Your review target within 60 days, and top 3 for your agreed search term within 90 days, both counted from the day onboarding is complete.
Your part. Give us a list of your customers from the last 24 months (name and mobile at minimum) within 7 days of signing up; give us Manager access to your Google Business Profile; keep your job or appointment completion process switched on; don’t pause or block the messages we send on your behalf; and keep your account paid up.
If we miss. If we miss either target by its deadline, email us within 14 days and we’ll refund the fees you’ve paid us to that point.
Not covered. Changes outside our control, such as Google suspending or restricting your profile for reasons unrelated to our work, or changes made to your profile without us.
We don’t guarantee calls, leads or revenue.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information and the access we need, including your Google Business Profile.
- Only give us details of your own genuine customers, collected in the normal course of your business, who you’re allowed to contact. Don’t give us bought or scraped lists.
- Approve message templates before the first send. Messages go out in your business’s name.
- Respond to leads, missed calls and unhappy customers that the system flags to you.
6. Reviews and compliance
We ask every customer for a review, never only the happy ones. We don’t offer incentives for reviews, write reviews, or post reviews from you, your staff or family. Every message identifies your business and includes a way to opt out, and opt-outs are honoured straight away. We may refuse an instruction that would breach Google’s policies, the Spam Act 2003, the Australian Consumer Law or any other law.
7. Third-party platforms
The service relies on platforms we don’t control, including Google, GoHighLevel and phone carriers. If one of them changes its features, suspends a profile or has an outage, we’ll do what we reasonably can to fix or work around it, but we aren’t responsible for their actions.
8. Ownership
Your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your customer data and the content we create specifically for your business (such as posts and photos) are yours once paid for. Our systems, automations, templates and know-how remain ours. When you leave, we remove our access and you keep your profile and reviews. Phone numbers provided through our platform can be ported where the carrier allows; we’ll help with this.
9. Confidentiality
We’ll keep your business information and customer data confidential and use it only to deliver the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded. Where the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profits or lost business.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by giving you at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you don’t agree with a change, you can cancel before it takes effect without waiting out any minimum term.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
